All treatment is based on the assessment report together with information gleaned from other appropriate professionals such as educational psychologists.  

I normally advise an initial course of six one hour sessions.  However less may be sufficient.  Importantly I am able to continue support for your child almost indefinitely and a number of my children return for occasional further treatment over a number of years.

Treatment may take place at my clinic, at the child's school or very occasionally at home.  I will continue to work with you and your child for as long as we all feel the child is benefiting; whether that is for a month or a number of years. 

I work alongside and liaise with a number of other professionals such as Educational Psychologists, Paediatricians, GP’s, Social Services and Teachers.  Assessment and treatment techniques I use may include: 

• Neurodevelopment therapies

• Sensory integrative techniques
• Perceptual motor therapy
• Developmental and behavioural approaches
• Therapeutic listening programmes
• Social skills development
